Snow and Bad Weather Procedures

Severe Weather Closures
 
School will only close if the safety of staff or children is at risk. We will place messages on our website www.greenleasprimaryschool.co.uk , on Twitter @greenleasps, through Parent Mail and the Local radio – Capital FM if we have to close. If conditions worsen in the school day and parents/carers feel it is absolutely necessary to collect children, the school should be contacted prior to collection.
 
Please check with the school website and Twitter for up to date information on possible school closures.
 
Opening late and/or closing early is a possibility in poor weather conditions and school will either inform parents/carers the night before or via Parent Mail, the Local Radio and school website.
